TabTrade Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up
Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
